The future of Supply Chain is human-centric: True or False?

Madrid, August 4, 2022.-  What does the future of supply chain hold? Global crisis: Shippers coping with record-high fuel surcharges are advised

Madrid, June 24, 2022.-  Shippers coping with record-high fuel surcharges are advised by diesel supply experts to simply bear with it until more (and cheaper) crude oil is available, perhaps later this year but probably not until 2023. Diesel prices will probably remain high longer than gasoline prices because diesel inventories have fallen to multiyear lows. That’s according to Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for Gas Buddy, an online fuel forum.

The pharmaceutical logistics market commands approximately US $80 billion in revenue annually and continues to expand with no end in sight

Madrid, 13 de mayo del 2022.-    Full shipment visibility across supply chains has been an elusive goal for decades.  Sensor technologies enhance visibility, but until recently affordable track and trace solutions have been mainly passive. That is, data recorders placed inside containers, trailers, railcars and/or SKUs record shipment condition in real time, end-to-end, but are unable to transmit the data, which is downloaded on completion of the shipment. Active sensors which report data as it’s collected have been available but not widely used, due to their higher cost and shorter battery life.

E-commerce logistics will continue to evolve to keep pace with expanding consumer expectations

Madrid, January 12, 2022.- Electronic commerce will continue to increase its double-digit turnover in 2022 in most developed countries. A success that has the logistics operators as the main protagonists, since they are responsible for storing, preparing, transporting and delivering each order by hand to the buyers’ homes. Hence the importance of knowing how the logistics sector is going to respond to the new demands of digital buyers. The Supply Chain Consulting Group has identified 5 main trends for 2022:
